“Fantastic. A must stay”
I cannot speak highly enough of this place. The rooms were clean, comfortable and airy. The gardens and pool were fantastic. The location, right on the beach, was perfect and the staff incredibly accommodating. If you are linguistically challenged, the owner and his family speak perfect English and they were all too happy to assist in any way they could.
The breakfast, that is out case was included in the very reasonable price, was fresh and flavorsome. I have to admit I became addicted to dragon fruit and looked forward to it each morning. As part the welcome we receive fresh coconut milk straight out of the coconut on the beach. Located close to shopping and restaurants it is very convenient although to the main strip required a taxi ride (which was very affordable).
I loved Mui Ne and The Grace Boutique Resort is a marvelous place to stay.

“Wonderful stay in Mui Ne!”
Our stay at Grace Boutique Resort was at the beginning of our first-time-visit to Vietnam, and it was a great introduction to the beauty of the country and its people. Our hostess and her team were very hospitable, kind, personable, and helpful. Drinks were served to us when we returned from an outing; fresh flowers and fruit graced our room.
The meals were superb! We appreciated the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are gorgeous with tropical trees and flowers. The pool was wonderful for relaxing and for getting some laps in. The room was just perfect for the two of us – comfortable bed, nice bathroom; additionally, we enjoyed the spacious balcony and the view. We left very refreshed and ready to explore other parts of the country.

“Exceptional!”
This is the first time that I have ever took the time to review a hotel. However on this occasion, I feel absolutely compelled to do so. My wife and I recently spent 6 fabulous days at the resort and were truly sorry to leave.
I can honestly say that in all my travels that I have never experienced such wonderful warmth, care and hospitality. Beginning from the very first minute that we arrived at the hotel to the moment we departed.
Loan and Van Allen lead the most dedicated team of staff, their own very high standards of customer satisfaction, epitomized in each and every staff member. I believe that if I live another 50 years, I will not find anything remotely comparable.
This holiday will remain in our thoughts always. Thank you Loan and Van for making it so memorable!

“Absolutely perfect – not to be missed!’
Grace Boutique was the perfect hotel for a few relaxing days in Mui Ne. We stayed in a number of different places during our 3 week honeymoon in Vietnam and this hotel was undoubtedly the best. The owners Van & Loan make you feel at home straight away on arrival with welcome drinks, flowers and fresh fruit in the room. They are always on hand to give lots of good advice on what to do in the area and where to eat. Without a doubt this resort is outstanding and every member of staff who works there will go above and beyond to make your stay absolutely perfect.

“Amazing experience – just what we needed”
Life at Grace Boutique Resort is a unique experience, where the outside world is shut out for a short while and you can relax to the sound of the sea, whilst drinking fresh coconut juice, in the knowledge that Loan and Van will do everything they can to make your stay special.
We needed a space to relax and ponder some hard decisions and this provided the perfect place. We rented the room over-looking the sea, it is a fantastic large space with a balcony and no neighbours, offering us the privacy we needed.
Loan and Van have created a truly amazing holiday resort which reflects their belief in excellent customer service and their passion for meeting new people. We were left with a feeling of having made some new friends.
The garden is fantastic, everything is clean and the staff do a great job each day keeping it this way. Breakfast is on a roof terrace with a lovely relaxing view and there is a choice of Western or Vietnamese food which is freshly cooked, with an ample portion -you never go hungry. Fresh fruit is provided in your room and a complementary drink each day.
The location is perfect with lots of local restaurants nearby, massage places and a local market. We felt we had chosen the best place to stay.

“The perfect sized resort and place to stay!”
From the time of contact for inquiries to upon arrival and departure from the resort, Loan was nothing short of being sincere and helpful (in terms of advice to get around and out of the area and modes of transport to and fro places).
I was greeted with smiles from her and her staff upon arrival. Her friendly and humble disposition as a host has definitely added a personal touch and bonus to every guests living at the resort. It was commendable that she took interest to make everyone that stays at the resort feel at home and to talk to them.
The rooms were just right and everything was more than I could ask for. Fruits were replenished everyday in the room. Breakfast at the roof terrace was a wide spread (yogurt and a generous portion of fruit platter on top of your breakfast option) and well received! It was nice of the host to share some of her cakes that she baked to us for breakfast as well! it was definitely tasty!
Location of the hotel is just right. There are plenty of seafood restaurants within reach from the resort. Motorcycle rentals and tours agencies (in and out of the area) are just opposite Grace Boutique Resort (at affordable, decent no extra prices). Nightspots are a slight walking distance but it was not too bad especially after meals.
In all, I fully enjoyed the hospitality and warmth from Loan and her staff at Grace Boutique Resort and will definitely be back. Double thumbs up!

“Wonderful experience”
We can’t praise this place enough. Clean, relaxing, comfortable, value for money and above all a level of concierge service unmatched in my 30 years in the international hotel industry. Owners’ Van and Loan Allen, “thanks so much”. My wife became ill with a virus infection before we arrived and Van and Loan couldn’t have done more to make her feel comfortable. Trips to hospitals, to drug stores, room service meals day and night, special dishes as requested. Within a few days my wife fully recovered, not least because of the relaxing environment created by Loan and Van. Excellent internet, down in the beach bar…and special thanks to Thao, who mixed some great cocktails. Highly recommended!

“Exceptional”
We booked this hotel about 3 weeks before we stayed and from beginning to end our experience was exceptional. My husband has walking difficulties and so I thought that breakfast on the rooftop of the hotel would be an issue. It wasn’t! – An email to Van and we were promised a room on the ground floor and breakfast would be served at the bar every morning – this is exactly what we got and it was fantastic. I had also asked if it was possible for me to hire a wheelchair for my husband & Van said he would look into this for me. I did not really expect this to be possible & had thought that we would have to arrange taxis everywhere. Imagine my surprise when we arrived & we found that Van had in fact purchased a wheelchair to enable my husband to get out and about. It was not easy and most of the time it was best to push the chair on the road – a bit risky but I could see the traffic coming & many people helped me if I needed. Van advised that Mui, the gardener, had agreed to work a little later whilst we were guests to ensure that we got out ok for our evening meal & Mui was always there when I needed a hand getting the chair up the few steps to the room and pushing my husband up the slight hill to the side of reception.
Some people have said that it is not 5* and this is true but it depends what you want. We like small hotels with few people and this fits that bill perfectly – there are a small number of rooms, the service is personal and nothing is too much trouble for Van, Loan and their family. Equally, the hotel staff are kind, friendly and happy in their work. This, to me says that the Allen family are caring and flexible employers. Their commitment to ensure we had a great time was testament to that. We were invited to have lunch with all the hotel guests (lovely barbecued chicken) for a Tet celebration & we had dinner with Van & Loan & 3 other guests (see previous post by Kiwi Budah) – we had a great time that night too. Too much wine but a great night… The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of room for all your clothes, lotions & potions. The swimming pool is small but perfectly adequate for cooling off and you could do many lengths if you wish. There are many sun beds but if you like the sun you may need to move around a bit because there is also much welcome shade from the palm trees. You choose what you want. The hotel is well placed along the main road and there are many good places to eat within walking distance (the Bar, Pin, Sinbad and our favourite Olivers). A taxi ride away takes you to other restaurants, most mentioned on TA. The sea comes right up to the hotel wall and so the beach is only visible early morning – but this is the best time for a walk & forage! There is a small area with sand facing out to sea by the bar and so you can sit in your sun bed looking out at the fishermen if you wish catching rays with the cooling breeze. Daily free mid morning drink from the bar is welcome & the lunch menu, whilst not extensive is adequate & the food tasty – there are so many places to eat nearby this really is not a problem. The mini bar is stocked every day & the cost does not break the bank – I found the whole holiday really affordable & probably the best value time we have had for a long time. There is no evening food served but with his usual, easygoing attitude and exceptional hospitality we saw Van arrange an evening meal for a weary traveler on one occasion. That is the level of service here. You can expect a warm welcome, great hospitality & thus enjoy a relaxing & trouble free stay if you book here.

“Utterly amazing”
I stayed at Grace Boutique Resort for a week in January – the service and facilities are out-of-this-world amazing. When you walk into your room, you’ll literally breathe a sigh of relief because it’s so beautiful. A genuine little paradise in Mui Ne.
I unfortunately was sick for a couple of days with a tooth infection, and the staff were so incredibly caring and thoughtful, they even served me dinner in bed! Do yourself a favour and book it!

“A lovely oasis in Mui Ne”
I stayed at Grace around New Year’s with my boyfriend. This was part of a 3 week tour in Vietnam, and we looked for peaceful relaxation and a beautiful weather in Mui Ne. I have traveled quite a bit and made fantastic and less fantastic accommodation choices… I can honestly say, that you can’t go wrong if you book at Grace!
Our stay started off in the worst possible way: our reservation had been lost due to a computer issue. Arriving after midnight, this was the worst thing to hear. We were really upset! Mui Ne was full of people, no decent accommodation available to change to — what a nightmare. But even at this difficult situation, Van and his family did everything imaginable to try and make up for the mistake. In the end everything worked out – we had to change rooms multiple times, but were fairly compensated for that. We ended up really loving our stay at Grace! I would say, it’s the special touches that really make a difference… Grace is a boutique resort with only some 15 rooms, and thus you get personal attention. During the day, laying by the beautiful pool, you are served complimentary fruit juice and pieces of aloe vera plant. Fresh flowers and fruit in the room are also a beautiful compliment. But most of all, we really appreciated the passion and devotion the owner family expressed towards making sure that all guests enjoy their stay. Being now already back in Finland where temperatures have reached minus 15 degrees Centigrade, I can only think back to our lovely stay in Mui Ne…!
